If laughter really is the best medicine, Volcano Art Center is handing out prescriptions to bust a gut at their Niaulani Campus on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. They’re presenting LOL: Ladies Out Loud, an Evening of Comedy, which bills itself as a night of talk about “Punatics” to politics, hormones and hilarity.
LOL: Ladies Out Loud, an Evening of Comedy showcases standup from local ladies, both green and seasoned comediennes, poking fun at island life and braving the stage for the audience’s amusement. Performers include Tanya Aynessazian, Executive Director of Volcano Art Center; Ki MiChele, known for her impersonation of Roseanne Roseannadanna made famous by Gilda Radner; Kathleen Butler; Shena Sandler; Angie Libadisos; Volcano resident and public defender Jennifer Wharton; professional comic and Kea’au resident Sherri Carden; Hilo resident Jenny Chin; Katie Schuerch; and Karen Blue.
