From Hawaii County Department of Public Works:
Wailuku Drive in downtown Hilo from Kamehameha Avenue to Keawe Street (back of Hilo Armory) is closed for safety reasons until further notice, as of Monday afternoon, July 2.
Due to damaged glass on the Wailuku Drive side of the Hilo Armory, the gym and roadway will be closed until the area is declared safe. The Department of Parks and Recreation staff is working to get the facility repaired to be able to reopen both the gym and roadway as soon as possible.
