The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce presents the eighth annual Building & Design Expo July 20 – 22, Friday through Sunday, at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
On Friday, the event is open to the public 5-8 p.m. and includes a no-host bar and musical performance by Joe Conti from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Master of the 12-string MIDI Warr Guitar, Conti’s “Stick” can blend the single notes or chords of a piano with the string bending and slides of a guitar.
Weekend expo hours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
There will be more than 50 exhibits featuring home design, construction and remodel ideas including home decorating; roofing and decking; flooring and window treatments; kitchen and baths; solar products and more. Vendor booths offer products, services and information relating to the building and improvement of homes, apartments and condos. And, there will be plants for sale for indoor and out.
New this year is a Grand Prize Giveaway consisting of products and services offered by participating vendors. Valued at over $3,000, this monster giveaway will go to a lucky expo attendee. The drawing is at the close of the expo on Sunday; winner need not be present to win.
