Japan 7.3 Quake: No Tsunami Coming Here

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says a 7.3 earthquake has struck in the Sea of Okhotsk, Japan, just around 5 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time.  There is no destructive tsunami coming to Hawaii as a result of the quake, according to preliminary estimates.

The coordinates for the quake are 49.7 North, 145.3 East, at a depth of 582 KM.
