The Kona Crime Prevention Committee invites the public to help honor Officer Jeremy Riddle as the “Officer of the Month” for West Hawaii at a luncheon at noon on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. The luncheon is at Huggo’s Restaurant. Riddle is being honored for his outstanding performance as a member of the Hawai’i Police Department. Riddle joined the Department in 2010.
The Kona Crime Prevention Committee encourages and supports our police department in their efforts to prevent crime, deter potential criminals and enforce our laws. The Committee also provides needed police equipment for use by our Kona District Officers when Department funds cannot support those needs.
The guest speaker will be Star Newman of Domestic Harmony Awareness.
The Lunch sponsor will be Sherry Henderson.
The public is invited to attend the Officer of the Month luncheons normally held on the first Wednesday of each month. The cost of the luncheon is $20, all inclusive at the Hugo’s Restaurant. Reservations are required and may be made by contacting Liz Holey at lholey@hawaii.rr.com or phone 443-7708.
