Historic Kailua Village invites visitors and residents to stroll oceanfront Alii Drive, shop and dine during the monthly Kokua Kailua, which is coming up Sunday, August 26.
Savor all the sights, sounds and flavors of summer as Alii Drive becomes a pedestrian-only walkway from 1pm until 6pm during Kokua Kailua. The festive marketplace atmosphere is complemented by Historic Kailua Village’s many unique shops and restaurants.
For families and friends, visitors and kamaaina, this free event is designed to rally support for merchants and restaurants and remind everyone to shop, dine and buy local. Free entertainment on the lawn at Hulihee Palace begins at 4:00pm.
The next Kokua Kailua is scheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2012 and will celebrate the kick-off of Kau Kau Kailua Restaurant Week.
