The Kona County Farm Bureau is hosting a candidate forum on Sunday evening, September 16, starting at 6 p.m. at the Queen Emma Community Center behind Christ Church Episcopal Church. Candidates include State Senate candidates for District 3, Kona, incumbent Dr. Josh Green and challenger Jeff LaFrance; State House Candidates for District 5, South Kona, incumbent Denny Coffman and challenger Dave Bateman; State House candidates for District 6, North Kona, Nicole Lowen and Roy Ebert; and County Council District 6, South Kona to Volcano, incumbent Brenda Ford and challenger Maile David.
The forum questions will all focus on agriculture. Sherry Bracken will moderate. The public is invited at no charge.
