Kona Toastmasters invites anyone interested in training in the art of communication to hone their skills and learn how to express their thoughts better to join in their meetings. Kona Toastmasters meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Suite Possibilities, in the Bougainvillea Plaza Building, 75-5737 Kuakini Hwy, #102. next to the County Parking Lot on Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona.
The Toastmasters learn how to organize and express thoughts through spontaneous sharing in meetings, writing and giving structured speeches, and evaluating others through constructive criticism. Members have opportunities to develop leadership skills by hosting segments of the meeting and taking on decision-making positions.
