Director Jack Watson is pleased to announce the cast is in rehearsals for “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” which comes to Parker School Theater in Waimea in November.
Watson says, “Jean Brodie is a formidable and charismatic teacher who goes far beyond accepted curriculum to teach four ‘special’ young girls about her own view of life. Her unusual views lead both her and the girls into awkward situations and eventually to difficult, if necessary, decisions.”
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” is a stage play by Jay Presson Allen based on the novel by Muriel Spark, presented by special arrangement with Samuel L. French, Incorporated.
Mr. Watson is former Dept. Head of Theatre Arts at the University of Oregon and a new Big Island resident. He was elected as a member of the Waimea Community Theatre and Chorus 2012-2013 Board of Directors and sings with Waimea Community Chorus.
