The Charter Desk at Honokohau Harbor reports that a “grander,” or thousand-pound or greater marlin, was brought into Honokohau Harbor Saturday. Molly Palmer is the angler who caught it. The marlin weighed 1,022.5 pounds. Molly was aboard the fishing boat “Anxious” with Captain Neal Isaacs.
This is the third grander of 2012, and the first for “Anxious.” The big fish was around 15 feet long from nose to tail.
