Nomination Papers To Be Available February 1 for County, OHA, Federal Offices

Jamae K. K. Kawauchi, Hawai’i County Clerk, has announced that nomination papers for the 2012 election will be made available in the Hawai’i County Clerk Election Division offices in Hilo and in Kona on February 1, 2012.  The last day to obtain and file nomination papers with the County Clerk is June 5, 2012 at 4:30 p.m.

Nomination papers will be available for the following offices on February 1, 2012:

U.S. Senator

U.S. Representative
Congressional District I & II

County of Hawaii Mayor

Hawai’i County Council
Districts 1 – 9

County of Hawai’i Prosecuting
Attorney

Office of Hawaiian Affairs –
No Island Residency, Resident of Hawaii, Resident of Kauai,  Resident of Molokai

 

Nomination papers are available at the following locations:

Elections Division – Hilo

Office of the County Clerk

Elections Division – Kona

Bldg. B, 2nd Floor

Kailua-Kona, HI  96740

(Wednesday, by appointment only,
at this location.  Please call the
Elections Division at 961-8277 to schedule an appointment).

 

The public is advised that until the Reapportionment Plan for the State Legislature is filed, no nomination papers will be available for State Senate and State Representative offices
