Hawaii Police Department was busy Friday night into Saturday morning. Highway 11 near Captain Cook was closed due to a serious accident from around 9:30 p.m. until just after 2 a.m.
Highway 190 on the Waimea side of Pu’uanahulu was also closed last night due to a serious accident, from around 10 p.m. Friday until just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Both highways are now open. No details on either accident are yet available.
