Police Looking for Hilo Man–Lots of Reasons

From Hawaii Police Department:

Big Island police are looking for a 27-year-old Hilo man who was reported missing.

Conrad Kimo Mattos is described as Portuguese, about 5-foot-4, about 150 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

He was last seen at Hilo Medical Center on August 12 at about 5:30 a.m. He reportedly left prior to being discharged and may need additional treatment for a medical condition.

Mattos is also wanted on two outstanding warrants but is not considered dangerous.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Joel Field at 961-2381 or email him at jfield@co.hawaii.hi.us. Callers may also call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
