Police Looking for Special Tables Stolen from Shipman

From Hawaii Police Department:

Big Island police are investigating a theft that occurred between July 7 and August 3 in the Kea’au area.

Michigan Tech University officials reported that someone removed 23 custom aluminum tables from Shipman lands off Highway 130 near the 3-mile marker in Kea’au.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information on the identity of the person or persons responsible call Officer Shawn Tingle at 965-2716.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
