Hawaii Wildlife Fund and Ka ‘Ohana O Honu’apo will host Science Sunday in the Park at Honu’apo Bay, at Whittington Beach Park in Ka’u. The event goes from 10 until 2.
Families are invited to join in for aday full of activities related to coastal and marine conservation, including mural painting our HWF truck, beach cleanup contests, water quality testing, Hawksbill sea turtle conservation crafts, coral reef fish ID, fishing rules and regulations with casting game. There will be free hotdogs and prize giveaways for the kids.
