The Hawaii State Department of Transportation has named Caroline Sluyter as its new spokesperson in the wake of the departure of Dan Meisenzahl, who has moved to the University of Hawaii.
Sluyter has been a Media Liaison at Honolulu Police Department since 2008. Prior to that she was with television stations KITV and KHNL. She has a degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
Her effective date is Wednesday, May 16.
