From Hawaii Police Department: A 31-year-old Kailua-Kona man wanted for allegedly escaping from a correctional facility was arrested in West Hawai’i. Ryan Jeffries-Hamar was located and arrested Saturday (September 8) in Kealakekua near the intersection of Highway 11 and Halekii Street. He is suspected of escaping from Hale Nani off Route 11 Tuesday afternoon (August 14). Jeffries-Hamar also had an outstanding arrest warrant for violation of terms and conditions of furlough that he was arrested for. Another Hale Nani Escapee — Second in a Week

Hawaii Police Department  has advised that yet another inmate has escaped from the Hale Nani Correctional Facility in Hilo. Sunday afternoon around 2:30, Joshua Kalili, a 20-year-old male, walked away from the facility.  Kalili  is described as having brown hair, brown eyes, 5’9″, 180 lbs., brown complexion, medium built, and last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts. Kalili  resides in the Honaunau area in Kona. Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately. From Hawaii Island Police: Big Island police are looking for a 31-year-old Kailua-Kona man who  escaped from a correctional facility Tuesday (August 14.). Ryan James Jeffries-Hamar was  seen fleeing from Hale Nani off Route 11 Tuesday at about 2 p.m. He is described as Caucasian, about 5-foot-7, about 170 pounds with blue eyes and short reddish-blond hair. Police Seeking Escapee from Prison

Hawaii Police Department issued an alert just after midnight Wednesday morning that Ryan Jeffries-Hamar, a 31-year-old male, has escaped from Hale Nani.  Hale Nani is the reintegration program for Hawaii Community Correctional Center, and is in Panaewa.  It offers a work release program for inmates who are going to be released on Hawaii Island. The inmates are generally put to work in the community before they are released, in nonprofit or government programs. From Hawaii Police Department: Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating an inmate wanted for escape. At 10:58 on July 21, police responded to Hale Nani off Route 11 in Hilo after receiving a report that Dallas Wesley Runyon, 32, of Ka?? had left the facility without authorization. From Hawaii Police Department: Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating an inmate who allegedly escaped from a correctional facility in Hilo on Saturday. At 10:58 Saturday, police responded to the Hale Nani Correctional Facility off Route 11 in Hilo after receiving a report that Dallas Wesley Runyon, 32, of Ka?u had left the facility without authorization. From Hawaii Police Department: Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating a 31-year-old Kona man wanted for escape. Sky Kamai Lewis failed to return to the Hale Nani community-based program on March 30 after violating terms of an extended work furlough in Kona. He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-8, 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.  Lewis has been missing since March 30, 2011. From Hawaii Police: The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” highlights a 31-year-old Ka’? man wanted for a domestic incident, a 32-year-old Puna man wanted for questioning about a sex crime and drug operation, and a 31-year-old Kona man wanted for escape. The new episode begins airing Friday, July 22.
