The Coast Guard has suspended the multi-day search for overdue Big Island fisherman Mitchell Wailani at 10:12 p.m Monday night. Wailani left on a fishing trip on July 5 and has not been in contact with family or friends since Thursday evening. The 79-year-old resident was reported overdue just after 4 p.m. Saturday.
