West Hawaii Celebrates Paskong Pinoy

A few hundred of Hawaii Island’s Filipinos, or Filipinos at heart, enjoyed Paskong Pinoy, or A Filipino Christmas, Saturday at West Hawaii Civic Center. Local style performances ranging from traditional Phlippine folk dances with traditional costumes to Filipino pop songs to keiki with ukulele singing Mele Kalikimaka kept the crowd entertained. There was a Philippine cultural exhibit that also displayed traditional Filipino costumes. And there was even a Filipino Santa Claus!
