The City and County of Honolulu, military officials, the Secret Service, State Department, and other federal officials have announced security restrictions in connection with the upcoming Asic Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) events next month. Roads and access around meeting areas will be restricted, with only residents and employees allowed into some restricted areas. The restricted zones are near the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the Hale Koa Hotel, and the Honolulu Convention Center. Some meetings will also be at the Ko Olina Resort.
