The winner of the Sam Choy’s Keauhou Poke Contest, held Sunday March 18, 2012 at Sheraton Keauhou, have been announced. Chef Jayson Kanekoa of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa took home the lion’s share of the prizes. He took first place in three of four professional categories—traditional, spicy and cooked—and took third place in the poke with soy sauce category.
