Hundreds of people, mostly local residents but some visitors too, attended the Mayor’s 2011 Health Fest at Hilo Bayfront on Saturday, August 6. The Mayor has said from before his election that he wanted to focus on improving the health and well-being of island citizens, including and especially keiki. The free family event was the first of two–there will be another Health Fest on Saturday, August 13 at Kona’s Old Airport.
