Two Puna Council Forums Set for July 22, 29

The Unitarian Universalists of Puna will host two County Council Candidate Forums, for Council District 4 on July 22, Sunday, from 4 p.m. until 6, and for Council District 5 on July 29, Sunday, from 4 p.m. until 6.

 

The candidates scheduled to attend the forum on Sunday, July 22 are incumbent Fred Blas and challengers Greggor Ilagan and James Weatherford.   The second Puna Council district seat currently has no incumbent, and the candidates attending on Sunday, July 29 include Steven J. Araujo, Liscensio Ceredon, and Zendo Kern.

 

Voters should have received the yellow cards indicating which Council District in which they reside, but if not, you can double check at http://www.hawaiicounty.gov/redistricting-commission/  or http://hawaii.gov/elections/maps/2012/

 

To get to the Unitarian-Universalist forums, from Hwy 130, take Paradise Drive makai.  Turn right on 14th Avenue to 15-1791.  Unitarian-Universalists are on the left side.  Telephone 966-7852 or 967-7295 for more information.
