Waimea Community Chorus Registration is still open – if you’d like to join, please go to St. James’ Episcopal Church this Tuesday, September 4, at 6:30 p.m. and ask for Miguel.
WCC rehearses on Tuesday evenings. New Chorus members are welcome at the registration, and no audition is required, but Director Barbara Kopra cautions prospective members that a commitment to attend the Tuesday rehearsals and other activities during the Fall Season is essential to those interested in joining. The first three weeks of the season are open to anyone who would like to get a feel of the choral style and particulars of WCC by singing and participating prior to actually joining the Chorus; however by September 11, anyone attending the rehearsals must join the group and pay the applicable membership fees.
The rehearsal season will lead up to three Holiday performances at the Historic Parker School Theatre in Waimea on December 14, 15 & 16, 2012.
